Flip a coin and observe

Decisions are hard sometimes. Mostly because we’re distracted by outside reasons, like expectations of others, the things we “should” do, responsibilities that are not ours…

We carry these distractions like a badge of honour, instead of really listening ourselves.

When in a dilemma, I use a coin. Not to decide instead of me, but to help me show my true desire.

It’s heads or tails. I throw the coin in the air. Even while it’s in the air, I already think about the desired outcome. If the coin lands on the desired choice, I’m happy and relieved. If it lands on the side that it’s really not my true choice, I feel that this is not the way I want to go.

So, flip a coin to invoke your intuition. Soon you’ll have no need for the coin anyway and you’ll always listen to your true self.
